A registered society, formed by Indian engineers, managers and entrepreneurs those who participated in AOTS training program in Japan on their return to India have voluntarily formed AOTS Alumni Societies / Associations in eight cities / states i.e. Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. All these eight AOTS Alumni Societies / Associations of India subsequently formed Federation of AOTS Alumni Association of India (FAAAI), a non-profit-making registered society in the year 1991 in New Delhi to promote AOTS activities in national level in India.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF FAAAI

To unite and get together ex-trainees of The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) in India and to promote good fellowship, cordial relations and mutual understanding amongst themselves and the public of India.

To keep its members informed of the latest technical, technological, cultural and social development in Japan and other countries and to improve their knowledge & abilities.

To establish close relationship and to promote technical, cultural and social exchanges between the Federation & AOTS as well as other such associations in other countries.

To provide facilities for the unrestricted dissemination of knowledge and information in technical, cultural and social fields amongst the members of the association and public in general by conducting and / or participating in meetings, seminars, discussions, lectures, conferences, public meetings etc.

To create opportunities for exchange of experience and to undertake or assist in research work amongst educational research and professional bodies in India by means of visits, discussions, advice etc.

To set up facilities in India for providing training in technical fields and to build a pool of experts willing to share their experiences/expertise in India or abroad.

To create and provide the learning opportunities of professional Japanese Language for aspiring Indian citizens within a reasonable time frame
Areas of Operation

Japanese Language School: FAAAI runs Japanese language classes every year on a regular basis by trained Japanese Teachers
Japanese Language In-company Training Courses: Special courses are devised for IT professionals who are working onsite and offshore for the Japanese market. Every year JAPROC conducts In-company training for various companies.
Japanese Management Training Programs: Engaged in training activities by conducting Seminar-cum-Workshops on awareness and implementation of different Japanese Management Techniques for the employees of the Indian industries.
